Leah Pliego-Padilla, LCMHCA
Welcome, I'm Leah Pliego-Padilla.
I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina, and I consider it a deep honor to walk alongside individuals on their journey toward healing and growth. I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults, and I believe that every person deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported, just as they are.
I hold a Master of Science in Counselor Education from East Carolina University, where I developed a strong foundation in both clinical knowledge and a thoughtful, client-centered approach. My goal is to create a warm, inclusive, and non-judgmental space where you feel safe to be yourself. I’ll meet you where you are, and together we’ll explore what healing and wellness look like for you. I believe in your ability to grow, and I’m here to help you reconnect with your strengths and move toward a more balanced, fulfilling life.
Every individual is unique, and therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. That’s why I integrate a range of evidence-based and experiential approaches, like CBT, DBT, EMDR, mindfulness, inner child work, and more, to tailor our work to your specific needs. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck, we’ll work together at your pace and in your way. I’m passionate about creating a space that honors your story, your identity, and your goals. My work is rooted in empathy, respect, cultural sensitivity, and a genuine desire to help you thrive.
Wherever you are on your path, you don’t have to walk it alone. I’d be honored to walk beside you.
